Yeah i know what most of you would probably say "who in the hell would discuss about a lame anime/manga?" Well that would be me, before you guys start throwing bad comments about it let me just inform you guys about the history of Yu-Gi-Oh.

I'm sure some of you have seen the 4-kids version of it(english) you know the boring talk, the editing and especially Yugi's awful quote " I must believe in the heart of the cards" oh god was that annoying.... However since this was from Japan, there are many parts of it that were removed from the original Japanese version which had more violence, language and the characters are more serious and don't preach to others about believing, friendships, and you know the rest. That's why i started reading the manga and the Jap version of yu-gi-oh and damn it goes beyond expectation of how i originally saw the eng ones, it definately was more awesome and badass.

This comes to show all of us, never watch the english versions of any anime because they suck so hard they destroy part of our childhood or how anime are really suppose to be. Like for example i just saw the Dragonball Evolution movie today and i knew it would suck but damn they destroyed everything about it. Such disgrace.....

okay i'm done for now so i'll update later on the manga and anime(Japanese versions only and no i'm not including the new Yu-Gi-Oh series, screw them).

i read yugi-oh when i was younger, before it got popular and that shit. I preferred the first volumes. So gritty

Isn't it? I just love em. Yami Yugi(A.K.A Atem) is so badass when he torments and fucks up their minds and they go insane when the other seasons he just plays cards against his enemys instead.

i started off by watching the anime..i find it very interesting and i picked up playing the card with my friends..then i swithced to the manga..never finished neither but i did watch the movie..the anime somehow is captivating..but its almost the same for every fight..yugi will fight and surely will get to a critical point and you think he will lose,but he somehow wins the match with card combos..i just lol'ed when he wanna draw a new hand..believe in your cards crap..what he perform in the manga is impossible to do in real life..XD

That's why the manga is far superior because the way Atem does some suicidal games he plays against his enemy's unlike the anime he just plays cards for saving the world(lol so ridiculous).

I liked the penalty games from the manga in the beginning, but I also liked the duel monster battles in the anime for awhile too...it was all ok until the series went GX.

Yeah the Author i guess ran out of ideas so used the same routine over and over.

[MERGED]: I got a question for all of you, have you guys ever seen the abridged series of yugioh? It is so hilarious. For those of you who never seen or heard of it this dude name Littlekuriboh takes episodes from the anime and edits the sound and voices and replaces them with his own and say funny ass jokes on it, it's worth watching.

somehow i'm not interested in GX..didnt bother checking it out..i just feel that it'll ruin my memories of the original series..
