Default Toradora Manga
Because @Katame said it was his favorite manga, I bought volume 1 of Toradora in English and I'm reading it.

I'm enjoying it BUT I am having the same problem @Nitrogen did with Ore no Imouto... Why would Taiga act so f***ing crazy, and why would anyone possibly put up with it?!?!? It seems even more extreme than Ore no Imouto, and there is even less reason for Ryuuji to put up with it. The "beady eye" thing is also a little annoying but then I can see it as a parody of all those other mangas where everyone has unrealistic GREAT BIG EYES.

So it may not sound like I am enjoying it THAT much but I am kind of getting into it and we'll see. I am halfway through book one just now.

Other people like this series?

I had the 1st chapter but I couldn't really enjoy it, for every single reason that you just listed Ugetsu. Also the fact that the translator probably used google translate to translate the book, because that was some of the most shocking English I have ever read :/

Stand still, Pause clocks, so we can make the world stop.

Hmm, @Newnie, you and @Katame both started threads in /f6, anime. I can see that this might be more enjoyable as an anime, where you can just sit back and watch it go by. Reading it gets you more engaged in the sense and the language, both of which are a little lacking as @Schn!izel pointed out. I should look on YouTube. The upcoming Blu-Ray version sounds awesome but it looks like Japanese anime Blu-Rays are pretty incredibly expensive by American standards, over $100 each!

Well the manga isn't that bad, I admit the translation is a little off but it was still good. The anime is a little more enjoyable but it's short and you know it doesn't completely follow up to the manga one. So in a way I like both of Tora Dora! I think it just varies upon people.

I love every variation of ToraDora! The anime, manga, and light novel~
The farther the story progresses, the better it gets Definitely one of my all time favorites.

It gets really good and it can put a tear maybe more in your eyes. I especially love when Ryuuji and Taiga become a couple like when they kiss and pretend to be married.

Yeah I shouldn't have mentioned the kissing part but I think everyone would have guessed it anyway. Sorry about that Sensei.
