It's a little hard to admit this but I like Strawberry Marshmallow. And it has been a LONG wait for the sixth tankoubon. It came out a while ago in Japanese and sooner or later we will see it in English. I am not that patient so I ordered it in French from Amazon.com. I actually took French in college so I have a lot better chance of understanding that than Japanese.

Miu Matsuoka takes it into her head that yelling "FUNGAH" will solve nearly any problem. This idea came from earlier manga/anime sources (what are they?)

As you can easily see, Miu is "extremely cute" and often says so.

If I am remembering correctly, @Newnie, years ago we discussed either this or something like it and you said your friends would all look at you funny if they thought you were interested in such stuff. It's kind of on a level with Azumanga Daioh, cute young girls interacting with each other. Miu is always doing preposterous things, but all of the characters are interesting. To me anyway.

And the good part is that it's in English, all but the new volume 6. And I think there are animes to watch out on the internet somewhere as well.

Tankoubon 6 arrived in French -- "Les petites fraises."

I realized when I started reading it that I -have- seen most of these chapters online, in English.

The book contains chapters 52 to 60, and the most memorable part is where Miu hits her head and is knocked unconscious, and we see her "dream" about going to Hell and then Heaven, getting wings, learning to fly, and having her breasts enlarged. She's just as much of a rascal in Heaven as on Earth so that doesn't last very long.
