Okay i'm just fooling but seriously a person wielding a book that can determine the fate of mankind that is just awesome. The idea of being a god can be pretty farfetched but that doesn't stop Raito Yagami from achieving it. Creating a new era can never be achieved by a mere human but he wants to defy that logic, even a brilliant mind like his can never understand the ways of creation.

So peoples, say anything you like about this very interesting manga.

I personally didn't care if Raito wins or not i'm just glad he got what he deserves for tricking Rem into killing "L"(that really sucked for me). After he died i started to lose interest in the manga. "L" is the coolest character eva!

and the series should have stopped at L.

So? Doesn't mean the main character is always the coolest. You are right about one thing, they should have just ended it with L's death because after that it got boring.

lol yeah. What i like about this manga is that it teaches us of what would happen if someone had that sort of power, like the idea of killing the evil people in the world is a nice gesture but then others will see it as just killing and then you go insane on those that rebel you. So in other words, there is no true peace no matter how hard you try to make it a reality.
