Chu-Bra ended abruptly with Step 48. It is strange because there were some new plot lines that didn't get explored -- Haruka's job as a waitress with a sexy costume, the evil guy who was her boss (or something). I suppose Nakata Yumi just got tired of it all, or weary of having to think about the new law and what it would mean.
Watching Chu-Bra end really does a lot to convince me that KnJ also might end soon. Of course the difference is that KnJ is an enormous "cash cow" for KW. She's a celeb, more than any other manga author I think. And she's never done anything remotely this popular. Does she really want it to go away? Or has she worked herself into a corner with the plot? Why do you think Chu-Bra ended? I will be scanning 47 and 48 before too long... | ||

???? ecchi But not on the "read online" site. You can either DL the chapter, or all of Tankoubon 4. In this chapter, the girls are measuring each other (or trying to) in the girls' dressing room, when Amane, the cross dressing boy, gets roped into joining them and has to admit he's a boy. The story stops half-way through, as a cliff-hanger to the next chapter. | ||

It turns out that there is a nasty little blonde girl from the Anime club who makes an unprovoked attack on Nayu, calling her a fool and an underwear freak, and making fun of Keigo her brother as well. Without the language it's completely baffling what's going on in that scene. | ||

That's hilarious. So typical of Kiyono -- she gives Amane an erection (squish squish) and wants to see how it looks in panties!!! Right to the heart of the matter.
Furthermore I know that what she says about sticking to your dreams ("I would rather DIE") gets repeated verbatim in the chapters we translated, where she is confessing to Suzuki. I think Amane quotes that back to her when she is staying at his apartment. I really am sorry this manga ended. Amusing stuff! | ||

Chap 31 has been scanlated -- Kiyono learns her mother wants to use her as an underwear model, and Haruka confronts her yuri feelings, at least a little.
