Default fullmetal alchemist
What's the difference between the original series and the new one called "brotherhood"?

I am the one... the one who will call forth...

Welcome, @Mundane. Can't answer your question (nearly zapped you by mistake) but maybe someone around here will be able to.

Good to have a newcomer who isn't a spammer!

Hey mundane, welcome to the forums

I've never watched FMA but I did a bit of research for you anyway. Brotherhood is just the 2nd season after Full Metal Alchemist, same characters apparently, but Brotherhood follows the storyline of the manga, unlike the first season which had it's own storyline

Stand still, Pause clocks, so we can make the world stop.

the 1st series is its own series. brotherhood is really a remake/reboot that follows the manga much more closely.
