Wow, I just looked at a map, it appears that hurricane Rina is headed straight for Playa del Carmen, and it is moving slowly -- so it will kind of be sitting on top of that area for a while. Merida is farther west and may escape the worst of it. I do hope @Dark Samus is safe and sound!!

I think she's near the last "o" in "Quintana Roo" on this map.
