I don't have a driver's license yet, nor do I have a permit yet, but my ideal vehicle might be a Ferrari California with a few light-weight upgrades to make it a deadly killing machine/something to run over zombies with whenever I need to, in order to get to the facility. Of course, I'd probably wear some sort of special quarantine armor that has a layer of kevlar on the surface, so that if a zombie were to bite it, their teeth would fall out. I'd like a large diamond on a golden pole as well. No substance on earth is harder than diamond. X3 Or, better yet, a sword with a blade made of diamond. Eh, anyway, while you're off trying to kill your zombie-made loved ones, I'd be helping a team of microbiology prodigies with developing and shipping a cure to the zombie transformation. Primarily, creating a counter-virus that restores one's DNA to normal, assuming that the virus is one that alters the genetic structure of the person.

just cuz diamonds are hard doesn't mean that it wont break... in fact they shatter when struck with a hammer. a ferrari wouldn't be of any use as well... getting gas for it would be hard. your better off with a military hummer if u can get one...

Yeah, the hardness of diamonds is actually measured in their scratch resistance, not physical toughness, otherwise they're quite brittle, but it's thethought that counts!

And wouldn't it be harder to get gas for a hummer, don't those things chug fuel?

Diamonds can be pretty durable, though. Anyways, as per the gas problem, alternative fuel sources anyone? Modifying the engine to work with electricity as a power source, and then building a mini-sun-type nuclear fusion reactor that just keeps going and going longer than the energizer bunny... Let's go sci-fi!

i believe hummers run on diesel which can be found in abundance any where there are large trucks. also with a bit of know how, u can convert it to biofuel to run off of just about any oil if the need ever came up. 10MM, dont u know that tech fails in the advent of an apocalypse, be it zombie, robot, nuke, or other. its all about survival

No, technology won't fail. Not always. It's fixable. And, well, survival isn't of the fittest, but of the cleverest. Little to do with tech or fitness, but more to do with whoever is more clever and calculating, and tricky.
