so... if there were zombies..... would they really be as deadly and scary as the movies have them cracked up to be? I personally don't think so. Something that's already died would be rotting and slow and thus... fairly easy to take down. I doubt humanity is dumb enough to be taken down that way. What do you guys think?

Well if you're talking about the rotten corpse reanimated then yeah they pose less of a threat but ones just recent are the problems. Its similar to those that have been infected with rabies, it inflamminates your brain causing tumor, the urge to bite flesh, stuff like that. I really think however we'd just be more horrified of their apperances to even react to kill them so there's still a chance we'd still be in trouble.

Me on the other hand, I'm actually prepaired. I got swords and a shotgun and just emergency kits so bring it on!!XD

There were zombies in one episode.

Eh, well, in the episode, Zombies weren't too easy to take down. A squad with Zombie Ammo had to be sent in, so that putting a bullet through the head wouldn't be required to kill the Zombie. (Zombie Ammo basically sends a charge through the nervous system that causes damage to the brain upon contact, so that way you don't need to aim for the head just to kill one.)

the rabies rage ones like I Am Legend and Resident Evil? wouldn't those ones technically not be undead-ish?... or wait aren't the things in I Am Legend like vampires?

if shooting a zombie in the heart does nothing that means there's no blood flowing meaning their brain can't be working at all.... so wouldn't it not matter where you shoot? every part of their body would be operating independently based on that

I think the only way zombies could get the upper hand is if it's true that when people die and turn into a zombie their brains stops limiting their strength. Even then I don't really think it would cause a total collapse of human society unless the virus became airborne somehow...

Oh, rabies rage? Hmm... Well, um, the first part of protocol is to quarantine the affected people, and the second part of protocol is to take a sample group of affected people, extract the disease from them, and study it under a microscope. Third part is developing a special sort of vaccine for it, with which captured and restrained victims can be experimented on to determine vaccine effectiveness.

...... screw that. Round them up and burn the bastards to death xD haha that's why I could never be a world leader. Way too simple minded and heartless about these things. The situation I could see being most likely to create a "real" zombie disaster is something along the lines of the government creating a virus and it causing symptoms simular to rabies.
