Excellent. Great minds think alike, Ugetsu! I am happy to see that I am not the only one that likes Chu-bra mostly because of Amahara. I think you hit the nail on the head. I think that she is also the most developed character in the series, even if she is aloof and stuck up towards the rest of them. Hints are dropped as to why she behaves this way, but due to the premature ending of the series we never get to know why she is the way she is. A pity.

I'm not really into loli and thus I don't have a favourite character. But one character I do like is from a series by Yuki Azuma called 'Schoolmate'. The character's name is Miku Aikawa (藍川未来). She's the character on the left Miku and her best friend, Satsuki Urushibara (漆原紗月) are junior gravure idol models. Miku lives with her older brother (parents decided to leave for Europe) who is also, by happenstance, her homeroom teacher. Satsuki has a big crush on Miku's older brother, but keeps it hidden. Miku is precocious and tries to constantly entice a reaction from her brother. She is similar to the way Rin behaves towards Aoki, which is why I like her, and the series. A propos, Schoolmate has now 3 volumes. I have the raws (translated up to chapter 13 in Spanish as well).

My favorite loli-female is Hina from Papa no Iukoto wo kikinasai! She's just perfect!

It's changed for me over the years. First, it was Sakura Kinomoto, then Tomoyo Daidoji, then Shinobu Maehara for a long time, then I found K-ON! and fell for Mio hard haha and she tied with Azu-nyan. Since finding KnJ I am surprised that Kuro isn't my favorite (long dark hair is my weakness) but Rin somehow is there in personality (which is rare cuz she's blonde and really forceful but I guess in real life I've flowed that way) but Mimi seems to really vie for dominance in the loli-character-favorite competition.

Well, I'd have to say Kuro from Kodomo no Jikan is one of my top favorites simply for her character. Roll from Rockman/MegaMan's Classic series is another of my favorites, just as it is yours, DarkSamus.

And well, err, though technically not of any official anime series, well, my friend's foxgirl character Reeko is one of my favorites, as well as DarkSamus's sketch of a loli version of herself.

But eh, well, I have a few other favorite loli characters as well, like Tobari from Pure Pure (despite never actually having played the game.)
