yeah, seems this forum over time has turned into a place for the Kojika community to come together. There aren't that many fans of the manga out there so it's nice to meet so many people who share the same interest

And I'm an illustrator too.I painted many pictures but not including Kojika yet, I think I will paint one someday. But during the days in Japan I have no my gears around(tablet,my mac,and a big screen). I have to wait until I finished my job and get back to China. Then I will paint one, I think.May be for the celebration of the Aoki and Rin get together finally or any progress they would make. Wish the best for the two.

I like Japanese sdutents uniform very much. Both the boys and girls uniform.
In my student days we just have sports wears as school uniform.Things got changed when I was in 12th grade, my last year in high school. They changed the uniform for the new student of 1oth grade(boys got suits and girls got suits with skirt)who just entered our high school. And for us the 12th grade student,in our last year of high shool we still wearing our sports wear uniform

Hi, nice to meet you. JDRIZZLE. It's great to join this forum so we can know each other better than just lurking and watching.
Well, about me.You must looked my self introduction. And other than that I'm also a big fan of Japanese ACG(animation ,comic ,game) culture, not only kodomo no jikan.I read Japanese light novels, play Japanese games, listen Japanese musics and drawing illustrations mainly in Japanese manga style. In fact I don't have any of these hobbies above until I learned Japanese as my second foreign language. Many of us who started to learn Japanese ended up with this consequnce of being a loyal fan of Japanese ACG culture. ![]() So, I'm looking forward to make more friends here too!

Me too, anime, manga, and games take up most of my free time... I love playing Japanese games, sometime I just can't put them down! Touhou is really addicting I also really enjoy Japanese music, my iTunes downloads has been being dominated by j-rock and j-pop lately I even sing along even though I don't understand but a little bit of it^^'Kodomo no Jikan was actually one of the first anime I saw, it pretty much solidified my passion for anime. And of course there's the manga as well... I'm impatiently awaiting the next chapter along with every other fan... I really need to learn Japanese so I can just buy it directly from Japan instead of having to get it through a scanlation group. Anyway, I hope we can continue to get to know each other and become good friends=^~^=

And about learning Japanese I strongly suggest you learn it and try you best on it.Every second you spent on it will be worth it. e.g. kojika,it's different between the manga (a.k.a the TANKOUBON,単行本) and the magzine which is the source of the raw data we got every month. There will be some story(not much) added in the manga every volume than the magzine. So reading the manga itself is also important to not missing any story. And some time it's hard to translate Japanese but much easier to understand it.I have experience like that.I understand the meaning completely but I just can't describe it properly in Chinese nor English. So if you know Japanese you can just get the meaning by youself and don't need to take the risk of any mistranslation. By the way you said kojika was one of your first J-anime.Well ,welcome to the world of J-anime.I love it too.And please go on, there are much more waiting for you.I think the Japanese Sci-Fi anime are even cooler(personal view).I love them very much.Like Ghost in the shell series, also mobile suits gundam series.I'm sure you will find your favorite ones in the future. And now the J-animes are all going on Blu-ray which is a great news for us but a bad news for our credit card.
