As the title suggests this is where I'll be posting updates on my Kojika Doujin! Gonna be a slow process but bare with me ><


Meet Yuusuke! What does he have to do with kojika? lol you'll see and yes he is indeed a he. Based on a friend of mine actually (who doesn't even know yet, I'm waiting for him to read it and figure it out haha) He needs a lot more work on his design, but the idea is "Fabulous" and sweet.
It's been all written out already, just haven't done much art wise yet, but more will come soon! Expect me to post concept art and even random pages (with no text of corse)

Oh, well that's great! It'll be interesting to see how your doujin relates to Kojika. I know making a doujin takes time and patience like Samus' doujin for example but all of us here are use to it by now so it's cool. I got all the time in the world. I'm sure it will be fantastic

Couple updates! Not scanned sorry. Too lazy haha

Finally took pics of these pics that I've had sitting around. Cover art concept. Yeah I realize it looks like those pics by Samus, but that was totally unintentional I assure you because I drew this before I had even seen them

My arsenal of pens and practice using them by drawing Rin. Also an older pic. I need to scan the nicely inked Rin for practice screen toning.

It does look amazing that your art is similar to Samus' but still you both are excellent artist's so be proud of your works

Samirah, I think you know I love what you do (BTW my friend who is into PsyDuck is now using your sketch as his desktop picture!).

One little criticism though -- Rin started out as 10 going on 20, and she needs to look like a kid. In some of your pictures, like the last set, she looks 20 going on 30, just a little too mature. I suppose it may have to do with your style of drawing. The pictures are beautifully executed. They just don't strike me as being Rin. Her aunt, her older sister, maybe -- but not the girl who is still half child and half woman...

You have a strong personality so I think you will take my comments the right way. As constructive, not trying to be mean or hurtful.

yeah I know I draw rin older when I draw her, but this whole thread I was actually going for having her look older so that means I did a good job haha

oh on a side not I've colored the psyduck picture! I'll post it now

It occurred to me that you were "inhabiting" Rin by making her your age.

I can understand that perfectly... and I think you did a good job of it.
