One of the imponderables here -- 10MM is talking about "people" in general, or people as he visualizes them from his own personal background and experience (or lack of...). KW is certainly working from her own experience, and this has got to be partially autobiographical. So she knows how Rin feels because she knows how she felt. Now -- did she marry her teacher? I doubt it. But I think she probably had some sort of relationship with her teacher, and came away feeling good about him. The picture of Rin and Aoki in wedding clothes shows that that is something that's in her mind. So you can't say that the story won't go in that direction.

At any rate certain things can seem unspeakably scary if you haven't lived through them yourself. When you experience things, you can put them into perspective, and there isn't such a "screech" factor involved, in retrospect. Personally I feel that life has to be lived with some risk, and that if you hurt sometimes that shows you how alive you are. You won't hurt when you're dead. That was my point in quoting that song. I think it is a profound point that everyone dies but "not everyone lives." It may be a danger for gamers to get their feelings of risk and involvement from a computer, and dial back living in the real world.

Oh yeah Ugetsu dont be so sure that this wasnt based on real personal events of someone. though there is no way to be sure without kw saying that it is so.

I like how KnJ can entice real discussion but we have to best in mind that psychology and reasoning are only applicable in the construct if the author's universe. Yes, in real life this is a terrible idea. But in the KnJ storyline it's perfectly logical because it had a new psychological construct. It's non-fiction which means even science, physics and psychology are fiction. We can't use real world psychology to contend with questions anf possibilities based in non-fiction situations. It's a while new universe that is no longer our own. The basis may be real woyld but in the end it isn't and we can't treat it like that. That'd the same corruption of story that makes people think that if it happens in a game our book then it's real (i.e. Situations like people who set up video game style kill zones in school or reading lolita anf thinking it's okay to be with a child) only in reverse. Forcing a real world construct on fictional universe will pull you away from the real story.

In short, you ruin it by taking it too seriously. It's fun to think about and even analyze but you gotta step back, resituate and go back in with an open mind that cam se the woyld in their terms, not our own. Getting lost in the story, so to speak.

i disagree with your statement, Aoki lack some experience, but have good qualities, pretty understanding, firm values, in fact one of the least pervert in the series, in resume he have solid roots (be a virgin is a proof of his firm values), and his best value as a couple, he pretty understands Rin

Rin have some problems but he loves aoki as well, this behavior of cross sex with love is normal, and maybe she have power over aoki, but no power thrist, she watches in a passive way the aokixhouin crush when she can do something to stop this, her way of do thing is with the aoki volunteer

in fact aoki starts to have power over she, starting to changing her behavior to this Reiji bastard :P

i fell some more, i feel than Kaworu Watashiya tries to sell the idea than rin and aoki are the perfect match and start to destroy the problems one by one, to finally match them :P... like someone says this is a manga and everything can happened, and Kaworu Watashiya is the god of this dimension.

Hi MVF, welcome to Moon-Speak. This board was broken for a couple of months, and now it is back in operation but it has become kind of a ghost town. I have a feeling that after a couple of new KnJ chapters we may get some users here.
