Wow, looks like you are really concerned for them. That's very touching, I admit I have not seen any photos or footage of the disaster, so I don't have that same strong reaction. It does make me worried to see this list here though, with all the unknown statuses...but then the vast amount of OK people is reassuring.

Hey Megaman, that's pretty honest of you, to share your viewpoint so deeply and thoroughly. Since you guys have shared your views, I'll tell you I'm Christian. I figured nobody else here was, and that it probably wouldn't be received well if I mentioned it. I wondered for a bit when someone here (can't remember who) suggested that we should pray for Japan when it first happened, but I guess not. I agree with you Megaman, for the most part. I'm not a Deist, who thinks that God just set the universe into motion and headed off somewhere, but I don't think he maliciously threw a tsunami and earthquake at Japan either (unlike what some Christians have said).

Well, I'll leave it there. I feel really uncomfortable talking about this because I truly don't want to offend anyone. Besides, I visit another forum for these kinds of things.

Well, Sasori, to be honest, it seems we all have disagreeing perspectives at certain points. I too was a bit uncomfortable about putting my views up here, but I decided to do it anyway. I thought that there was a possibility they'd take offense, and I decided to put up a warning ahead so that they'd read with care, and let themselves have their own opinions.

I would put up counter-arguments for disagreements as an effort of debate/persuasion, though particularly that is not the purpose of the topic, and perhaps a new one should be put up for that sort of discussion.

Additionally, debate may not be the best measure.

Even so, it seems our friends are tolerant of our beliefs, and I'm fairly uncertain now that they'd blow a fuse over a simple, trivial disagreement. Part of friendship is willingness to accept disagreements, and being willing to talk about them openly without letting personal feelings get in the way of a relationship that began from a fondness of something specific. (Such as Kodomo no Jikan as a series.)

Let us still express our concern for Japan and hope for the best, and lend support in one way or another.

[SPOILER]
And, I'm not certain God would deliberately set off a national disaster at this point and time, considering it seems he hasn't done that since prior to Christ's coming. (Also, doing so would conflict with his own interest of gaining love of the people he loves, by leaving them to make their own decisions about things in the environment he configured to be a system that perfectly suits the purpose of establishing a cause-and-effect environment.)

While I haven't heard of any Mangakas injured (although there might have been) -- I have heard that a major paper factory was hit by the tsunami, so publication of some mangas will be affected. They will either be delayed or the production run will be smaller.

Then again I can't update the list of mangakas A-Ok, since my resources of data are becoming less thrust worthy....and they don't update the list. So, If anyone knows anything about the remaining mangakas and found it before me, please put it here

@Ugetsu: Thanks for the Info, in the morning I was talking about Inuboshi, but a quick trip to 4chan show a post from that Mangaka that was made the 28th of March.
