Sup, Moonanites? Been thinking this over for a while, and it occurs to me that KnJ might be KW's way of telling the Chinamini story in a more satisying way. In other words, KnJ will end with AokixRin as canon.

I've seen speculation that Chinamini was a sort of precursor to KnJ. I don't remember where, though.

I often wonder: KW said she'll go with a happy ending, but does that necessarily mean they'll end up happy together? I'm guessing they will (though not so sure about hoping so). If they do, I wonder just how it'll happen. "I'll wait for you"+time skip? Depart as "friends"+time skip+get together afterwards anyway, since neither has gotten with anyone in the meantime (even with Reiji)? Sooner rather than later, despite her age and his being squicked about it (currently, anyway)?

I've seen four episodes and read the manga to the end (though admittedly, I'll have to reread it, as I don't remember much except the last few chapters -_-; ).

id be pissed off if they didnt end up toghether in the end,thats what most people came to see and im sure KW has enough balls to finish the the first serious loli love story in history.

if KW wanted to copout she could have volume 12 end with Rin graduating and Aoki giving her the real kiss she always wanted and leave it at that (like the OVA ending)

but the path i want to see is Rin graduating and having Aoki move in with her,its technically not ilegal since they arent teacher-student anymore,he moved in with his "roomate" Reiji to save $$$$ (*wink wink*)

with Aoki living with them Rin wont need at actout anymore and will enjoy having a loving father figure,Reiji will less burden parenting and will finally have time to get a social life where he will fall in love with a nice lady (or Mimi-chan) and forget his crazy wife husbandry plans.

there would be many tender moments like going on dates,parks,vacations and what not and a lot of sexy moments in bed and in the shower,a lot like chinamimi where they just give the vibes of kawaii imouto going out with her protector onii-chan.

also add some Reiji x Aoki moments for all the fujoshi,Aoki being seme as always,i like how Reiji blushes and is tsuntsun for him,he is gonna make a real mature adult of him in no time.

the fun part is guessing HOW Aoki x Rin will happen,if it didnt end with that couple then KW would become one of the biggest trollestia's in anime right up there with Evangelion and any other lame Gainax ending.

otherwise it would feel very NTR if they got diferent lovers,and i really hate NTR stories =(

Oh yeah, I do. Only have three episodes so far. One of the main characters is also named Rin. She's nothing like our KnJ Rin, of course... I've read in this series, they skip forward ten years to when she's in high school. (Rin is starting school in this show.)

I just know in our KnJ, when the ending finally rolls around, I'll be bawling like a little girl, it's just how they will end up together is just gonna do it for me. I think when it does happen, it will unfold over several chapters (I'm guessing four.)

If anything, how many chapters are in a tankoubon, and I think we'll have a good guess on when it would end. I think it's early to say it's ending soon, but my guess it may run to 13 or 14 books, so we have a ways to go. Unless it ends with book 12.

I cant help but shake the feeling that KnJ will have a sad ending. I hope it doesn't but a sad ending could reflect how society influences how we act as human beings.

Okay, if there are seven chapter per tankoubon, then we can assume that if and when Kodomo no Jikan does end, it will end on the seventh chapter of whatever tankoubon it would be in.

So right now, we are in the middle of the 11th book, so the last chapter would be 78... this month is 74, so that would make it December. Nope, too soon to end, that's only four more chapters.

If it goes to the end of book 12 (chapter 85, eleven more chapters), that makes it June 2012, and if it goes to the end of book 13 (chapter 91, eighteen more chapters), that's January 2013.

Now all this is assuming they don't take a break in the meantime like they did several months ago. So you see, we have a ways to go before this series ends.

I'm still guessing that she will jump forward at some point, towards the end. I think at that time it would be more acceptable, since Aoki will no longer be her sensei, and it would be okay for them to have a relationship. It depends also if KW has seen other manga that has the student/teacher characters, I've seen a number of them, and essentially when they get together, they are no longer a student/teacher relationship.

So will Aoki follow her to junior or high school? Probably not. Doesn't mean their relationship will end, it would just take a different tack. The pressure would be off of him, since he will no longer have a direct relationship as her teacher. And Rin can always turn down any confessions, since it looks like at this point that she will always love him. It would be possible to divert things a little and have her (or Aoki) have a relationship with someone else. For a while, anyway. (see Maison Ikkoku) But like the love story it is, they would eventually come back together again, seeing they really couldn't be apart.

Or, Kuro will snap and drag Rin into marriage with her, where Rin will find out that life with Kuro isn't half bad, and the two live cheerfully, while Aoki finally overcomes his clear genre-blindness towards romance and suddenly it hits him... literally... that Houin likes him, they go out on a date and see where things go, and Shirai pulls that coworker teacher she's dating into marriage so that they can raise her child together, that is, if Shirai got pregnant.

--.--U Can't speculate, neither make conjetures nor have wild guessing because this chapter was so intense that I'ts IMPOSIBLE to do that now. Starting now, I can't be sure what will happen. Four chapters more until Tankoubon 11 is done, and then the last one....of course I can be wrong.
