I've just scanned the Shirai doujin. I think it's worth a look, Shirai looks pretty hot. BUT there is no sex, no nudity, and it is described as a "fanbook." The whole "plot" consists of a drunken conversation between Aoki and Shirai. He kind of paws at her. For some reason she is wearing a school-type swimsuit and he's in his usual necktie. At the end he's muttering about Kokonoe and she's rolling her eyes and calling him a lolicon pervert.

I suppose I'll see if I can commission this with Sayo, since it is part of the "canon" and I'm curious what it says.

In the Wiki for the KnJ character list her first name, Sae, is spelled with 紗江

On her swimsuit in this doujin it is 沙江 -- with the "water" radical.

I wonder who's right? For some real KnJ trivia -- when did anyone call Shirai-sensei by her first name?? Maybe Oyajima recently, but I don't recall that happening. ??

Googling tells me that the Wiki version is right...

Wow, using the characters from the doujin, I =only= get the doujin.

Using Google Image Search with the wiki version, I get a gazillion pictures of Shirai.

I did think it would probably be a "young Shirai" scene, or one with her parents, where they would use her given name.

OK, I just looked in Tankoubon 4 -- Chapter 25 begins on page 77, it is the chapter where Kuro gives her a white rose to match her own black rose hairpin. On page 94 at the top, we see a rear view of Shirai running in a shirt and panties, and a jagged line surrounds her parents talking to her. But Sae is spelled there with the thread radical and not the water radical, which to me says that the Wiki is right and the doujin is wrong. ???

Spelled twice on Tankoubon 6 Chapter 37 page 47 with the water radical.

SO it looks like water not thread, but even KW is confused about it...

My paper copy of Tankoubon 4 it has the thread radical as I described it. So presumably the original printing was what was scanned and put online. And your paper copy is a later edition.

Wasn't there also an official doujin with Chika and Houin? Anyone got a scan of that one too?

We had a glimpse of a Chika - Houin story line on KW's website, and I think someone said that chapter was published somewhere other than Comic High. At any rate I don't know what became of it, and nobody has scanned it if it's out there. Which is odd, because the "First Grade" stuff published in Comic Sumomo was scanned immediately.

Anyone have more information about this?

Sorry sensei, people here are trying to track the Raws, but Chino can`t find anything with the PD, Miya neither. It`s difficult, though, without any clues about where start looking, If we had at least the tittle that could be helpfull.

Well, normally those drawings on the KW site are foreshadowings of the main KnJ story line. Just because she hasn't gotten there yet doesn't mean she won't do it some day.

Perhaps it was a Comiket release? If it was released in another magazine, we might want to find out what other mags Comic High's parent company releases... that will probably give us a clue where to look.
