Maybe all know it, but the last month the first salvo was fired, It`s that anti-lolicon law in Japan. A good number of Mangakas ( K.W included) are fighting against that, buf.....if they fail? I opened this Thread for all of us, the people who don`t want this. Feel free to write whatever you think about that topic. We all must be together...

I`m more stable now, I`ve been sleeping for a while, I thougth that what I read was damaging me, but....I`m sick, I can feel it, my nose itches. Good to see that I`m only sick.

You're worried about that? that issue with not just japan but worldwide has been going on for years but as Kikster said they never got to it and dismissed it so even if it is still being talked about, Japan wouldn't change a thing. After all they still hunt and eat whales which are endangered species and most other countries are protesting against it but they don't care. The point is the chance of it coming to an end is very slim at the moment so relax Samus.

blah blah blah
Loli (and shota) -con can't be considered abuse, they are drawings, therefore, no victims. Incest is another taboo, are they going to ban that too? And the argument about the real act being illegal? Well, rape and murder are illegal, but movies, TV shows and comics have them, and no one is bitching about them. Take that, Thought Police.

There is a growing problem and frankly I blame Google -- if anyone is capable of setting a worldwide standard for what is "acceptable" Google is. This might sound like a silly statement, but I could go to sahadou.com from my office until someone complained to Google about the site. One day I got a warning from Google that the site might not be suitable and the next day I couldn't get there from my office. I can still come here but mainly because nobody has complained and Google hasn't noticed us here.
I have no doubt that the reason Mangahelper dropped KnJ is because they got another of those Google complaints, Google threatened to block references to Mangahelper unless they got rid of their "offensive" content. There appears to be no way to appeal these Google decisions -- they have the force of law, they seem to be stronger than legislation, but there is no way to argue with them that they are wrong. It is a relief that the Japanese legislation went nowhere. But it still will probably get more and more difficult for us to read and enjoy KnJ. I also like Futari Ecchi which is about a young married couple (I know most of you guys would find it stupid) and that was also taken off Mangahelpers...

Like what you said in the last paragraph, there's violence, rape and sexual content in TV and Movies, but there isn't a crusade to have it banned. It's almost laughable.

@Ugetsu: Yeah like recently Google stopped their base of operations in China because they were getting illegal information about the U.S. However if you think about it there are loop holes around it, to be honest i don't really need Google to find what it is i need, i do have my sources. I'm sure you have ideas as well about it. Last thing is that Google only provide links but i don't think they have the authority to shut websites down so as long as one knows the website then Google is the last place you want to turn to.
