I'm not sure but I haven't seen anybody mention the fact that Mangahelpers has taken down all raws from thier site not just Kojika. Last month they were asked by a few publishers to stop allowing access to some titles. Then they did state how some sites ( Mangafox, and One manga were named by the industry clearly) were cutting into the sales of mangas on both sides of the Pacific. I though I post this to let everyone know we are on our own for the raws and will need to find a new place to get them. I already have one in mind but I need to check it out first.
Here is thelink to the article : Japanese, U.S. Manga Publishers Unite To Fight Scanlations Here is Mangahelpers reply: About MangaHelpers and the future of hosted / linked scanslations & raws - News

@Kiki, thanks -- but you need to read more widely here, we've been discussing this in the Tankoubon thread and elsewhere. I really want to know if this is going to cause Sayo problems, where will HE get the raws. Not to mention, where will I get 'em?

Okay this isn't so bad...I think it said that those who translate it are still allowed the RAWs right? So this is only really a bad thing if you liked to see the Japanese versions. As long as I can still download the translated version from SaHa's site without hassle then I'm happy.

Ok, now I`m a little surprised.....But I`m ok, If we can still read the chapters month by month until the Manga ends, then is fine to me, besides, I was expecting this since I knew by my cousin that Comic LO site started a campain against ilegal Raws or something (he was shocked as hell, so I didn`t understand him well) If Sayo says that the Raws can be found, then I`m ok.

There is only one Japanese bookstore in San Diego at the Mitsuwa grovery store, and they don't have Comic High. They don't have the Kodomo no Jikan tankoubons either

Well in order to succeed in convincing them to bring the Comic High to Mitsuwa you'll need more others to ask for the same thing. I could also ask them myself, i'm kind of a loyal customer over there but even so we need more others who will support it. I don't know if they have suggestive pamphlets or something but it would help.

Thanks, Kikiskeeter, this makes things clear.
The publishers are idiots. While what they are doing is in their legal right to do so - and they should do so to keep their shareholders 'happy' - they are idiots for not having filled up this void in the market that mangahelpers, onemanga, mangafox and others filled for them. In addition, there will be plenty of manga that will not get translated e.g. the one we love talking about here, simply because some dumb people find the content too controversial, so instead of growing up they petition the powers that be not to publish it. In addition, when I was living in Canada, a translated manga was typically $12 while in Japan they are half the price (I bought a suitcase full of them during both my business trips there). Granted, the translators and the overseas publisher need to make money too, but to double the price? I could end up spending thousands of euros on manga LOL Now, some of you are asking where to get the raws. Newnonimous, you are using perfect dark too, right? Perhaps we can write a tutorial about how to use that? I get my raws from there, though I cannot find everything. What I suspect will happen now is that new websites will pop up in the place of mangahelpers, and they will place the raws on rapidshare, megaupload and so forth. The publishers can fight this, but they cannot stop it; at least not until they fill this market hole.
