Just got a message from CD-Japan, they are taking orders for the ninth KnJ tankoubon. This will have DVD included with it, it doesn't say what the video would be, I can only think that they are coming out with a totally new OAV.

The pre-order price is 3790 yen, or $43.69. It's scheduled to be released on January 1, 2011, and they'll ship it so you'll get it in a couple of weeks from Japan.

I really wonder why shipping rates from Japan are so high. A manga weighs less than half a kilo, yet I pay about EUR 30 (USD 40) to have it shipped here. If I buy a book of similar size and weight from North America or within Europe, I pay at most half the price. I feel ripped off. Are there no cheaper options around?

I just got a little excited when I rediscovered this thread and realized the new volume comes out on New Year's Day...that means in a little over a month we should have a new OVA floating out there, right?

EDIT: Just watched that preview, wow it's great to see the anime again. I can't wait until it's out! It's especially interesting that they're doing the 55-56 chapters because the anime never went so controversial before...what with Chika sticking the tampon into Mimi and Aoki...never fitting and all

Funny, I got sound but no picture on Safari. On Firefox I could see the pictures. Wow, she seems to have included EVERYTHING, pretty amazing!!!
