Was wandering around the Comic High website, where I stumbled onto the on-line comic of the 8th volume of Kodomo no Jikan. It's in Japanese, so this is the RAW of the comic. It's only the first few pages of the book (chapter 51), so BUY ONE!

There is a GREAT picture in the frontispiece of Rin and a young Aoki at the beach, looking out over the ocean, holding hands. (From when Rin pieced together the picture of a young Aoki at the beach with a picture of her and Kuro and Mimi) That picture made me all goose-pimply, it's a really sweet picture.

So the story itself is the regular beginning of Ch. 51, where Reiji has just "rescued" Mimi on the train, and Aoki comes over for supper and intrudes into Rin and Reiji's home life, right? And the extras are those beautiful color pictures and Rin with her iPod and bikini, right? Does the table of contents imply that Vol 8 stops with Ch. 57?

Ugetsu

My copy came today. At the end there is a fantasy in which Kuro is talking with her 8 legged eggplant from the Bon festival in Aoki's home town. On the inner cover, in orange, there is an interesting sequence about Chika, Houin, and Kuro bathing, I wish I could read that. I won't have time to do a full exploration for other new stuff, busy with other stuff for a couple of weeks.

I`m still waiting for Sayo to translate it...Yeah, I know that we`ve readed all those chapters (51 to 59 maybe) but I always enjoy looking the extra pages...they`re a good training for what I have in mind.....ups, almos let it slip. Anyway, I will show myself again until the chapter 61 appears. Like I said in other thread, I will be completelly relieved when we get the next chapter. I`m still a little upset about that stupid thing about banning loli, and although It`s true that the fate of that horseshit is a EPIC FAIL, I want to be sure .

Ups, my bad, the Volumen 8 ends in the chapter 57. And that color pic of Rin and Aoki as childs (well, Aoki, because Rin is still a child) It`s very cute....but Rin`s hair is supossed to be more.....long? Ah well. It reminds me the pic that I draw in December, but mine was a little more ecchi; but of course, I don`t fill Watashiya`s shoes, I still have a long road to walk.

Oh i'm sorry Samus i meant the new chapter is coming soon, i didn't mean the lolicon banning, that will never happen believe me. Don't have doubts at all, me Kikster, Ugetsu and Nitrogen are all extremely confident that the law will never make it through

(sigh) lately i've had no contacts at all with the real world. All of my friends went their separate ways and i don't ever socialize with my family. The only one i talk to here is you Samus. I try to keep my spirits up by playing video games, reading mangas, watching animes and program a few mini-games but these things are only short lived after you fulfill them. I don't know, maybe there's something that's missing.....

Sorry for not answer right away Newnie. Sure, you can talk to me whenever you want, I will answer your posts and if you want, talk. In fact, I got my own issues too, but in my case I have to endure all my troubles alone, I have friends here of course, but, like you, something is missing in my life. Has been 1 year and 9 months since my best friend, the girl that I think that would be my one and only confident despised me (I`m not lesbian, she was special to me in many ways) and hasn`t been easy to me trust in other people. In fact, was that sadness that make me look for friends, real friends, cyberfriends, I didn`t care about it....then I found the comment board in Sahadou and you and Kikis know the rest of the history. So, you can say that we`re the same...something is missing in our lifes, my friend. Sorry, I feel like I wanted to wrote something little and I wrote something bigger. Anyway, Newnie, my friend, just smile for me, for us three, even a rainy day has a rainbow, just remember that.
