I can't get on Sahadou when I am at work so I can't fetch you the quote -- it is in among the responses to Sayo's scanlation of Chapter 70. The concept was that you sometimes see a clock in the background -- kitchen wall, bedside table -- and that the clocks have been advancing over the years of KnJ. When I read that I said to myself, "no, that is the exact same illustration" and I just wanted to prove that. But I had forgotten which chapter "Ai-san" was in until today. And you are right, 7 PM is a very reasonable time to meet after work to begin a date. That's all the time is about.

BTW it's interesting to reread Ch. 54 in the light of Ch. 70...
