I'm sorry to hear that Samus. I pray that everyone there is okay your friend too. I only heard of it while i was surfing the web like about 12:00 am and then this came out on youtube and i couldnt believe that it happened. the videos the japanese people shot took my breath away. the news then spread like wildfire afterwards.

My friend over there is in Sapporo, so she is safe from the tsunami, but she said the earthquake was really scary.

I wrote to Hiroshi, my manga supplier. He is in Osaka, he felt it but things are OK there. His family was in Tokyo, and he was worried, it took several hours to restore cell phone service. I am very worried about the nuclear plants there.

Yeah from what i heard the nuclear plants might face a meltdown i sure hope it doesn't happen. Understandably, the cell phones would be out probably they may start putting more public phones in corners since they don't run by satellite, that way they will be able to make contact in no time. Fortunately, some of my friends there are fine thank god. I know this is a lot bigger than what the Japanese people have dealt with all their lives but even so they will still pull through together and rebuild their homes and lands. What i especially admire about them is that when disaster strikes they follow procedure in a more calm, mature manner than how most other countries react. It shows that they will get through it in time. I'll pray even harder for their safety and recovery..
@Samus:Así que es un alivio que tu amigo está muy bien. Entiendo que este es un momento difícil para todos nosotros, pero que nos recuperaremos como hacemos siempre. | |
