I just read it. Poor Aoki seems to put his foot in it as usual, and Rin certainly didn't seem bashful to ask Kuro and Mimi to see their 'goods'. Kuro's reaction at the end of the segment was hilarious. Houin can't seem to time things right with Aoki, and Shirai at the end, well...it will be interesting to see how Aoki will explain this. The wait between chapters is absolute torture, but at least we can still continue reading the series.

Great chapter. It certainly was funny when Kuro and Mimi were embarrased to show Rin their *******. The chapter was straight forward. I was hoping for a bit more dramatic moments but the parts when Houin heard a guys voice(Reiji) and Shirai happen to see Aoki walking out of the Kokonoe's house was a good enough.

Overall: Grade A

Last note: So it's clear that Sayo indeed has sources so that's good to know that we won't be left behind during the upcoming chapters.

And as predicted I'll get my Komiku Hai in about 2 weeks. At least I will have the raws, I like that. And who knows what else will be there.

BTW for you Mexico fans, congratulations on getting past the first round. Let's hope the USA can do that tomorrow. You know, it doesn't matter exactly HOW you get to the next round, being there is what's important!

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that Rin freaked out when she realized that Aoki saw that image on her cell phone? Rin has been trying to seduce Aoki practically from day one, and has practically done everything she could just to get him in bed. But when he sees her 'secret spot', she practically has a coronary. This coming from a girl who did her own 'exploration' when she was under Aoki's desk (Ch. 53 pg. 5-7). Granted, Aoki shouldn't have invaded Rin's privacy, but she should have considered herself lucky that it was him who found it, and not some stranger. That certainly would have stirred up a hornets nest.

They've shown before in previous chapters that Rin is still insecure about these things, even if she pretends not to a lot. She did the same thing when Aoki saw her breasts, when he spanked her bottom (he thought she was a boy and they were playing tag), and when she found him standing over her when she woke up from a nap. My guess is as mature as she acts she is still a child and has these insecurities, I mean why else would she ask her friends to let her compares themselves?

What I don't get is what Rin meant by "take full responsibility." I know in a non-canon chapter where everyone's genders were switched, Rin-kun got a boner when Aoki was touching him (I think she was cleaning his ear with a cue tip???) and told her to take full responsibility of it. But what could Rin mean here...obviously Aoki's not gonna..."take responsibility" in the same sense as that other chapter.

Well this is just great, what the hell is Shirai doing down Rin's street. I hope that at least she will be more understanding since she's going through this social/emotional change in her own life. I guess the "Aoki living at Rin's" story arc is coming to an end?

Overall I thought this was a great chapter.

Good point, and I know Rin's eccentricities are far from being new. Her moods seem to change like the winds. As for what she meant about Aoki taking responsibility, she might have meant that he has to marry her. I've seen other animes and mangas where some female characters get the whacked out notion that if a guy sees her naked, she's been damaged and can't get married to anyone else other than the guy who saw her. That may be the case in this situation. This is just a guess though.

It certainly is weird that Shirai shows up outside Rin's apartment of all places. Maybe she lives nearby, who knows. As for the story arc of Aoki's living status, this could still be salvageable if he plays his cards right. Since it's Christmas, Aoki could just say that he was invited for Christmas dinner, or he payed a visit to deliver gifts. Considering the bitter history with Reiji, it might be a tough sell, but it could work. After that, Aoki is going to have to cover his ass big time, if he wants to avoid drawing any more suspicion.

I thought that was a very good chapter. And i agree with what Samuraisedge says about the marriage ideal. I just got done watching such an anime about a mage who summons a familiar that has the notion that they are wedded for such a thing. That is one possibility that may come from this or it just goes to show Rin's fleeting moods.
Although i think there will be extreme future tension with Shirai-sensei from now on. I can guess she may begin tailing him in the future.

I never thought about it, but it could be a possiblity that Shirai might start following him around to find out what's going on. As stated before, Aoki better come up with a good story to sell her if he wants to keep his bacon out of the fire. As for the anime you mentioned, it sounds like Zero no Tsukaima (Familiar of Zero), but there are plenty of other animes and manga with the same theme. One other area that I forgot to touch on, is when Aoki went to Houin's apartment for dinner. I have no doubt that Rin is going to go ballistic if and when she finds out about it. Of course nothing happened between them, but I don't think Rin is going think it was so innocent. Rin sees Aoki as hers and no one elses. Can't wait to find out what happens in the next chapter.
