Lurked for a while, a short while, and see that it's a fine place.. so why not.
I'm furu-furu-furu-m00n, and no one here knows me -- except for the occasional post in the KnJ blog entries at SaHa's. Which I tend to not do anymore. So here I am, it's been almost four years since I started reading KnJ. And all I have to say is, Rin, and all those who orbit around her, have burrowed into a place in my heart, and they're more than welcome to stay. I had this huge, long post all typed up and edited, and then decided to just get rid of it, and just say that I'm glad to be here, since it seems to be a place for discussion of all things about KnJ, not just the "naughty" bits that seem to fascinate so many. The depth of the work, the tightly interlaced stories, everything -- I want to talk about it all, not just the naughty (but I will concede KW does naughty better than just about anyone ;o) And I do enjoy the naughty, don't get me wrong. KoJiKa's blown me away completely. It's re-defined what I thought was possible in a comic, and I've read some heavy ones. Some of the Tezuka stuff was pretty hard to read. Well, here's KoJiKa, with it's pretty girls, pretty dresses, sexy this and sexy that, and it has a story that has me welded to my chair everytime I start reading it. Like you all, I wait with bated breath until That Next Chapter slips off SaHa's "press" as it were. So I'll be around, I have ideas for posts, but the way I think I want to put it all in one big post, so I'll resist that. I'll write more later. So in summary, I love Rin-chan. And Mimi and Kuro too -- and those who are in any way attached to them -- but mainly, I love Rin. I've dealt with some of what she's dealing with -- family death, forbidden love, FUD, etc -- and I have to say, sometimes, many times, I wish I had her strength. It's not just love, or lust, or longing -- it's admiration. I admire Rin. By extension, all that is Rin, must be coming from KW's pencils and pens, so ultimately, it is KW I admire, no? Someone posted a pix of what appears to be KW inking Rin in. That's the hottest, sexiest thing i"ve seen in a long time -- a picture of one my all-time favorite characters in 40 years of watching 'toons, being inked in by her maker. The only way I could top that would be to see it for real. I'm glad I found this forum. I have found, I feel, people who think a bit like me about KnJ -- people who think KnJ is already a Classic, people who genuinely love Rin. 'kay, bye. I found this forum yesterday, thought about what to write all day long, and now I'm off to a KoJiKa anime marathon. Been thinking of KnJ so much this weekend, that I have to give in.

Hi @Furu-chan (you can correct me if you don't like that, but I can't type your whole name every time!) it sounds like you really do belong here. I certainly agree that it's the plot that hooks us, not just the fan-service!!

Good to see another newcomer here, especially one who share the same passion about KNJ as all of us do and i agree that the story really captivates us while fan-service is just behind it.

A lot of the activity has been SPAM of course. But sometimes I feel like I'm defending an empty house. The worst spammers are the ones who leech onto a popular topic with active replies and insert their crud into the conversation. That makes me close the topic because these guys ARE machines and once they have replied to a topic they keep on trying to reply even after I close it. I can watch that happening, if the topic were open they would be posting there again and again and again...
At any rate @Samirah is meeting new college friends, and I think @DS said she was busy with work. Glad to have @Furu here with us and glad you're back @Schnitzel! I've noticed @Mayotta around but mostly lurking (hi @Mayotta!). Maybe I can do some bad translations soon and that might stimulate the conversation. I'm guessing @Furu knows at least much Japanese as I do.
