KW has really developed and changed Shirai's character: she turned from a bitter bitch to a much more gentle and loving person. Her relationship with Oyajima is a good step and it also develops his character.

That leaves Houin. She is the least developed of all the characters. I wonder if KW will start to focus more on her? I have the probably unrealistic hope that once Shirai is more comfortable in her relationship with Oyajima that she will help Houin land Aoki. I would love to see Rin's face should this indeed happen.

Holy crap this chapter was on crack. I mean jeez what the heck was up with Kuro? She went all Rin with this chapter, usually she's the one who looks childlike, but when she hugged Shirai like that it looked like the roles were switched. And then Shirai asks that outrageous question to Oyajima, Reiji seems to be warming up to Aoki, it's like everyone's gone crazy! I mean seriously, even if this felt like a filler to me, I could spend the next month just trying to grasp the insanity of it all!

In the end, the only person here who seems normal is Rin.

I agree about Kuro, except she didn't do it because she liked Oyajima. She did it to test to see if he was worthy to be with Shirai. Rin did these things because she truly loved Aoki and wanted his attention and acceptance. Kuro was hilarious in the way she reacted. When Oyajima wasn't fazed by her panties, Kuro's neck got disjointed. It was like her ego was wounded and she tried to get satisfaction by toying with Aoki afterwards. But your right for the most part in that characters personalities are different from usual. Even Rin isn't as clingy as usual.

I think with Rin the reason she seemed so not-clingy is because Reiji was there, if it was just her and Aoki alone I'm sure she'd try to kiss him again. You can see in this chapter that she's looking at him with a loving way.

Hmm... valid point, although I think she may have been restraining herself for Aoki's benefit. If Reiji saw Rin getting lovey-dovey with Aoki, he probably would have school board and the cops after him. Rin's no fool.
