Ok, right now I´m not in panic state, in fact, I´m taking it easy, but as everyone know, there are plenty of info about this recent crap, but surely we will have updates about it, so, since I don´t want to spoil any other KNJ chapter thread, I suggest to put everything about that stupid bill here, updates, news, countermeasures of the mangakas, all that stuff. Be my guest and smile everyone, we will see another victory of the media, because the Governor is an idiot.

Well from many sources i've read on the web the bill doesn't censor the lolicon or any other sexual explicit out but rather make them for 18+ adults. So that kids don't also have easy access to them from the manga/anime stores to the internet. Of course we dont know that for sure until the bill becomes effect(which we all don't). The Governor is not just an idiot from what i heard he's an extremist, so it's no wonder he appealed for the bill after it was shot down last year. The manga/anime companys are at war with the bill right now but i don't know if they're fight will get through this again.
We'll see Samus, we'll see...

Futabasha, the publisher of Comic High, is in Tokyo, so the ban will most assuredly have consequences for KnJ. However, the worst case scenario is that CH has to move their headquarters outside of Tokyo in order to publish KnJ.
This is largely a symbolic victory for Agnes Chan and co, though it does not bode well for the rest of the nation.

Yeah, that's one positive note about it that it only affects Tokyo not the whole country. So they may as well move to another city to keep it going(which of course they don't plan to so easily). It may suck for Comic High and a few others but at least outside the boundaries they can still publish their works with little to no risk.

Happy New Year everybody
Yeah Samus I saw that on Kotaku about the OG Plasma Cutter. That's kinda neat, I forgot where you work exactly? Is it a Gamestop or a different game retailer? About the bill...not too worried. Again, it just doesn't make any sense to me, wouldn't they ban actual lolicon before they banned this manga? Or are they fitting it with the trashy stuff too...
