I forgot to thank you Sayo for stopping the spammer, you're simply the bomb! I know there will be more though in the future but if you could would you swing by every once in a while or if we inform you to make sure no more spammers appear? we'd all appreciate it.

This favel bastard is still there. So either he signed up again or it did not work.
I am aware of users changing their IP but we can just block their whole block if they are coming from an IP range that nobody else uses.

A lot of the spamming issues seem to come from "bots" rather than spammers. Essentially, these "bots" are for 2 reasons. 1) advertising. 2) phishing.
IP range ban is good, but deleting all the topics they made and their accounts on top of that is better. (A lot of forums have had this problem. Not just forums, but also some places like "Gaia Online" where random keyboard-letter-named accounts run up from three to four days online, advertising things nonstop.)

You're too kind Samus
![]() I was a hacker once back in my days but now Ive lost it all... Anyway what I was getting at is that if I remembered I would have track their ip and messed it up real bad as payback. I could learn it again but it just takes the fun out of surfing the web plus it's a cruel habit that I was doing.

We need more ban-hammer-armed admins. Eh, you might as well give the somewhat more active members admin powers (What's it matter? We're not going to ban each-other. Though, we'd have fun banning the crap out of those annoying pests, erasing their accounts and posts, and blocking their IPs.) We need to be armed with this:
![]() The ultimate weapon and perfect defense against the evils of of the evils of the spambots of evil. </Redundancy> Die, SpamBot Scum! Speaking of which, we should also create an RPG-style RP where the active members fight against an army of robots (known as "SpamBots") in a cybersteampunk world. We can search the internet and develop character designs of cybersteampunkness to design the robots and the people that fight them. Plus, the Hammer of Ban can have a different transforming form for each person. This way, we have a place to remember the names of the evil spambots that harassed us, and that way we can have our revenge in stylish fun. Now, we want to be more equipped to combat these evil spambots, and to keep them from taking over the forum! Who agrees with me? Okay, I'm overdramatic.
