Over on the right you have an "EDIT" button. I only get this on my own posts.

Sayo, you have made it crystal clear, but I don't have that moderation box. I think you can see that in the image I posted. I am not that sort of moderator, Stoner has made me some kind of sub-sub-moderator.

Thanks Stoner, I seem to be in business now, I have the Moderation box way down at the corner and i have an "Edit" tag on all messages, even for you Moderators.

I looked at the drop down list on Moderation and I still don't know how to sticky or un-sticky threads? There must be a different menu?

check in the same menu, but in the subforum instead of the thread itself. And when you create a new thread, the option should be there.
