So. Anything i The general section except News are closed. Quarantined area. Pruned some bots and threads. If you REALLY want to use general discussion i'll clean it, but i doubt anyone is interested in using it anymore.

Otaku Arts: What do you want to do with it? close it or leave it since some people might want to post in it?

About some plug-in thing i'll talk to alternity about it (if i ever think about it). Can't promise anything though.

For a moderator, i'll toss a coin between the 2 obvious choices. (gimme a sec)there you go: Ugetsu it is. If you have other questions, ask, i might see it (or not).

Isn't Manga in Otaku Arts? I've been using that along with Nitrogen and a few others.

I can deal with this, thank you Stoner. I need some kind of guide to the commands etc.

you should see a moderation menu somewhere under the threads list. If you're moderator you should see it. For editing posts and such its the same thing, at the bottom of the posts and stuff.

Edit: mkay, i cleaned up otaku arts and removed visual novels. And you can create a new topic for requests, don't feel like sifting through every damn post in here.

Another edit: Change post count title to make it more fun a bit.

Made a post just for ugetsu. Please sticky every thread for new chapters since i'm never there anymore. Unstick old chapters too. And if you want a special title to go with moderator tell me.

Naturally it's a busy time of year for me too -- traveling and guests until some time in January. But I will try and learn the ropes.

I need to know how to delete messages and ban users and stuff.

Should I be able to do that? I see a few new things but -- how do I sticky a message?

What is the name of this Forum software so I can read about it?

Ugetsu, the board is called vBulletin, so Google that and I am sure there are instructions for it somewhere.

I had modded fora but that was phpBB, so I cannot help.

I don't think Stoner has given me a high enough level as Mod to do what I need to do.

The only new thing I can see is, right under the avatar, instead of 2 little icons (online? and report!) I have a third icon which is a red rectangle between them that says "add infraction." Nothing about delete, move, sticky, ban user. I need a Colt revolver and what I have here appears to be a spitball.

Over on the right there is an "EDIT" tab but only for my own messages.

PS the message I added infractions for last night appear to be gone! Maybe I do have at least some of the tools I need.

I think there should be a moderator's panel somewhere. I remember with phpBB that there was an extra menu at the top that regular users cannot see. Do you have something like that?
