You can say that this thread is the /b/ of Moonspeak (without the porn) here you can post anything, from something that happen to you these days, to anything you want like a post about a new game you found, aqquired or movies, that`s because you know that I usually make post about the games that I get, but I always do it in the KNJ chapter thread, so I opened this space, and I want to show you one of the reasons for why I`ve been waiting this year.....If the big guy in the Ship isn`t Unicron, then I`m Miley Cirrus....

I was thinking the same thing that it's unicron but from others they are more convinced it's either Alpha Trion Or Sentinel Prime(Optimus Prime's father) they both look similar as well but hey we'll see. However, i'm not too sure if it will be great. I mean, the first one is the best no doubt but the second not only started to get more juvenile but the movie itself was a LOT longer than the first. Regardless, i'll still see it just cuz. I'd just stick to the original animated T.V. series.

You won't be disappointed with Goldeneye, it may be a little short but it's still fun as hell. Ignore the bad reviews for it they don't know ****, it's a great game!

I'm saying it's option #3: a fabricated villain like the Fallen.

On another note, here are some other interesting trailers I've seen lately.

I Am Number Four: Another Michael Bay movie, based on a novel. It's about aliens who land on Earth after their race is wiped out, and how one of them starts to fight back when he's the one they are hunting down. Looks nice, kinda want to check out the novel.

Limitless: Guy receives a drug that makes him ultra-smart. Like, learn a new language in a couple hours, and make a few million on the stock market starting with little money smart. Gets hunted down by people who want to use his brain of awesome. It's witty, and somewhat reminds me of Smoking Aces in it's action humor.

Real Steel: Rock'em Sock'em Robots, the Movie... starring Wolverine. I want to watch it just based on the premise. Check out the trailer.

Source Code: Quantum Leap-esque film where a machine can send a person into the life of someone else to relive their last 8 minutes of life. The government uses a soldier to try and find out who bombed a train. The soldier falls in love with one of the passengers, and begins to wonder if it's possible to save her life even though she already died. I like it.

I saw all of these at http://trailers.apple.com/

I've gotten some back issues of Comic LO. Some of the stuff is worth the read. Most of it is trash.

LO エルオー 茜新社

If I grieve, if I grieve, can my heart turn white?

I saw that trailer a couple months ago. It's alright, I hate though how the basis of every Michael Bay Transformer movie involves the transformers playing a role in major historic events. Can't they just come here for the first time without us knowing about them? I didn't read the comics or watch the show so I don't know which Prime that is. However I think I can safely say it's not Unicron because I remember reading that he's like the size of a planet. Basically a Decepticon Primus.

I haven't played Goldeneye, my friend has it so I guess I should try it out. Personally to me it doesn't look like it offers anything a 360-PS3 shooter can do better, other than nostalgia.

EDIT: Oh yeah for that Transformers movie I remember reading the main villain's supposed to be Shockwave. He doesn't sound so tough so I'm not sure why he's the big bad guy over Megatron. And it still doesn't explain who the transformer in the trailer is.

Shockwave transformed into a laser-cannon floating gun-like thing in the original, I recall. And Megatron transformed into a gun. (Why is it that none of the newer incarnations of him seem to feature that? He either transforms into a super-death-jet or a tank now.)

Yes, Unicron is a massive planet transformer. (I estimate he's larger than Cybertron in planet form.) Popular from the standpoint that he looks rather demonic and he's pretty downright scary if you think about it. A giant planet-eater? Better hope it doesn't come into our solar system. :P

Or that the Earth has a built-in Death Star laser. (Hey, Earth in the Doctor Who series had one, assembled from "fallen alien technology.")

As Michael Bay said it, "Having Megatron transform into a gun is like Darth Vader turning into his own lightsaber and having someone else swing him around."

In other words it is now lame.

Ah. I see. Well, later on he became Galvatron and transformed into a cannon that could fly around a bit, so that was a bit more dramatic. Eh, well, I see.

Popcorn, anyone?

Yeah, Shockwave was a big turret. I think the big reason that new incarnations of Megatron don't turn into a gun has more to do with the toys. Even his earliest toys turned into a tank rather than gun (in-Universe, he shrank when he transformed, and it was pointless to make his toy turn into a Walther that no other Transformer could hold), and I think that they just changed it because kids want toys that turn into the same thing that they see on TV. I know I wouldn't buy an Optimus Prime that turned into a stoner van.

To be fair, Megatron transformed into a pistol that could pierce any armor and usually kill in a single shot. It's more like Darth Vader turning into a 20-foot lightsaber and having someone else swing him around. I don't think that's all too lame.

Um, I recall looking on the commercials and such of the TFArchive website that apparently there was a Japanese figure of Megatron that transformed into a shiny silvery gun... [Specifically, yeah, a type of pistol. Not the biggest gun fanatic, so...] TFArchive - Transformers Cartoons

Either that, or it was a dream. Eh, well, still.
