Yes, but look at where it has taken Aoki; in one other chapter we learnt that he kind of 'ignores' the other students. In addition, he has to be careful that Reiji does not file another complaint about him; Shirai might not be able to help then. While Aoki's actions and motives are noble and wonderful, he has to be careful not to overdo it and end up in trouble.
