Go back a couple of chapters, Mimi bumped into Reiji on the way home from cram school, and when Mimi got off at her station, Reiji noticed blood on her leg, got off the train and helped her clean up.
Reiji is bugged enough about Aoki, so not dealing with Mimi's first period, then getting a note from him asking him to get Rin a bra really torques this guy.
This is leading to something, but it's too early to figure it out. Man, Kuro really, REALLY does not like Aoki. Smart in a couple of ways, to make him be a slave for a day, but selfish. Kuro doesn't hate the guy, she's more jealous of him, really.
About Mimi and swim class, she'll end up sitting them out. It's pretty standard fare in manga and anime for that to happen. Re: Otoboku anime, where the main character is a guy at a girl's school, and (obviously) has to sit out swim class by stammering, "My p-p-p-p-per-per-per-period.....!"
I think that Mimi is going to try to be like Rin's mom, not only because she has sort of "filled in" for her when Rin was hallucinating with fever, but she is in love with Reiji, and this a a clear cut path to his heart, in her mind.
